What are DVIA Meetings...

Who is invited to a DVIA meeting?

All DVIA community meetings are open to the general public. Those individuals running for public office who wish to address the DVIA and/or the community at large may or may not be allocated time based upon time constraints.

DVIA Monthly Meetings

The schedule of upcoming DVIA meetings is listed in the Calendar on our website. DVIA Community Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00pm at Valley Baptist Church. (unless otherwise noted). The meetings generally last about an hour and all community residents are invited to attend.

The DVIA does not meet when the Baltimore County School system decides to close school for the day.

What happens at a DVIA meeting

A DVIA officer calls the meeting to order, and an agenda is distributed. The presiding officer will address all items on the agenda, and solicit votes from the board members. Old business is first addressed, and then new business. Community members are encouraged to attend and have their voices heard.
